08. The link-building toolkit we use at Getmentioned: comprehensive list
You guys often ask me on LinkedIn about tools I use for building high-authority backlinks. In this post I'd love to share with you the list of 11 powerful tools so you can achieve magnificent results.
Hi guys!
Happy to reach out to you again with another handy letter!
I often see the following Qs in my DMs and the comment section:
Viktoria, what software do you use for bulk sending emails?
How do you write so many personalized emails?
How can you check the increase/decrease in traffic?
Today, I want to share with you all the tools Getmentioned team uses for building excellent links!
Google Spreadsheets
GSheets are gold.
Everyone here knows about them, so there is no need to go deep into details.
We use it to track ongoing link-building campaigns, generate personalized emails, save contact data, etc.
Ahrefs
It is a Bible of Link-Building.
At Getmentioned, we spend hours there on a daily basis.
We are addicted to this one.
Ahrefs is perfect for finding the right keywords, tracking website's traffic, improving its conversion rate, checking on backlink profiles as well as competitors analysis.
And thousands of other functions!
Google Search Console
This is classic for linkbuiders and SEOs.
Submit sitemaps and individual URLs.
Monitor and analyze website traffic from Google search.
Identify and fix technical issues of the website.
See which other websites are linking to your site.
Monitor and improve the performance of the website's AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) pages.
Receive alerts from Google about any manual actions taken against the website.
It can be addictive as well as Ahrefs - you'll be checking it every day!
Hunter.io
That's the app we were asked about most frequently.
It finds email addresses for easy contact options and cuts down on time spent sifting through About pages.
You can also take it a step further and use the tool for outreach.
HARO + HelpAB2BWriter
While HARO is wide-known software (therefore, a competitive one) for connecting you with credible sources and allowing you to build natural backlinks, helpab2bwriter.com is less popular, and this is its advantage!
If you already have experience with HARO, give it a chance as its not-trendy-yet alternative.
Link Whisper
Link Whisper is helpful for internal link building.
This one is AI-based.
It helps us recognize old content that needs more links directed to it.
The tools also automate links based on keywords and offer internal link reporting.
It can speed up internal link-building automatically.
GPT For Sheets
GPT for Sheets is an extension for Google Sheets and, believe its possibilities are almost endless.
It can:
Generate blogposts, content outlines;
Write emails and documents;
Answering online comments;
and more!
We've generated 1 500+ personalized emails with this app - check the process out here!
Postaga
It will replace the outreach assistant.
Postaga does everything from finding opportunities to initiating outreach.
It also finds relevant information from influencers to include in emails.
You can enter your domain into the tool and find relevant campaign ideas even for yourself:
Insight:
Create your bank of target websites for building links for your own website on and send 10 outreach emails every day.
With this simple action, you'll be able to earn 30 links per month.
Isn't it great?
CTRify
Just give it a single keyword - and it'll do everything for you.
This AI creates the content you need for a specific campaign.
You can then automatically publish the posts – it doesn't get much simpler than that.
Sendinblue
This bulk email marketing service includes automation, email templates, and more with a drag-and-drop interface.
We love the send time optimization feature that lets you send your emails at just the right time for each contact.
It has an email campaign designer and email template library.
Awesome!
Hope you guys find this post helpful and you discover new link-building software for yourself!
See you in a week!
