But here, I’d love to share with you 3 powerful keyword tips that will rocket your link-building campaign.
1. Target reasonable keywords
Our general goal is to rank by terms that are plugged into the search box by users.
Use any keyword research tool you like and find 10 best and most relevant terms for your industry.
Keep in mind the following parameters:
Volume: How many times a month the term is searched.
Competition: How difficult it is to rank for that keyword.
Domain authority: impacts how easy it will be for you to rank for keywords.
Relevance: No point in ranking for a keyword that isn’t going to bring qualified traffic to your site.
2. Low-volume keywords rock
If you just start with your SEO strategy, your best bet would be to kick it off with namely low-volume keywords.
Why?
they have low competition;
you gain traction;
you build up over time.
Work smart, not hard;)
3. Target long-tail question keywords
Basically, these are keywords you can see in the section People Also Ask on the search engine page results.
Let’s say your keyword is ‘link building services’.
By Ahrefs, its difficulty is 52 (Hard), and it’s really-really challenging to rank at the top of SERP.
But scroll a little bit and here’s your solution:
So, take a first query and its long-tail keyword ‘link building services cost’.
Its difficulty is 6 with is much better than 52 of a previous one, right?
So easier for you to win.
